Our 2010 Spring Digital competition will be coming up on March 1. Remember, four images are allowed to be entered for all competitions. Rules and information forms are now available on our web site and will be available at all meetings starting with the January 18 meeting.

New video tutorials are now on the website explaining how to use the new system. We will also go over the details at meetings leading up to each competition.

The entry form will only be online for two weeks prior to each competition. No images will be accepted by any other means once the form is taken down at the end of the two week submittal window.

Submitting Images for Member's Night Digital Projection

For our Members' Nights, digital images should be submitted as follows:

Each image file must be in the .JPG file format with a file size of less than 3,500KB (3.5MB)

Resolution should be 72 ppi.

Size to 1280 pixels on the long side.

A color space of sRGB

Name each file as follows:
Name the file the same as the title of your image. If the title of your image is stormy weather, then your file name would be stormyweather.jpg. Please don't put any punctuation, capitol letters or spaces in the file name.

To ensure that your images are recorded properly on a CD, please verify it. After you have finished writing it and have ejected it from your computer, replace it in the computer (or even better, in another computer or another drive) and verify that you can access your images from the disk.

If these instructions are not followed, the delay which results could eliminate your images from being seen by the members and guests at that meeting.
