2010 Winter Digital Competition

Click HERE for TutorialsOur 2010 Winter Digital competition will be coming up on December 6. Remember, four images are allowed to be entered for all competitions. Rules and information forms are now available on our web site (go to the next section on this page) and will be available at all meetings starting with the November 1st meeting.
New video tutorials are now on the website explaining how to use the new system. We will also go over the details at meetings leading up to each competition.
The entry form will be online for two weeks prior to each competition. No images will be accepted by any other means once the form is taken down at the end of the two week submittal window.

Submitting Images for Competition and For our Members' Nights and Competitions, digital images must be submitted as follows: Each image file must be in the .JPG file format with a file size of less than 3,500KB (3.5MB) Resolution should be 72 ppi. A color space of sRGB Name each file as follows:
Member's Night Digital Projection
Size to 1280 pixels on the long side.
Name the file the same as the title of your image. If the title of your image is stormy weather, then your file name would be stormyweather.jpg. Please don't put any punctuation, capitol letters or spaces in the file name.
The information below applies ONLY to Member's Nights
To ensure that your images are recorded properly on a CD or Flash Drive, please verify it.
After you have finished writing it and have ejected it from your computer, replace
it in the computer (or even better, in another computer or another drive) and verify
that you can access your images from the disk.
If these instructions are not followed, the delay which results could eliminate your images from being seen by the members and guests at that meeting.
