Redlands Camera Club Eye On The World

About Us

The Redlands Camera Club (RCC) was founded in 1896 as a nonprofit photographic organization.

Become a Better Photographer and Have Fun, too.

The Redlands Camera Club is the organization to join if you love photography. Your skills will get better while you make new friends and have a great time.

Our group holds twice-monthly meetings, competitions, and we also schedule field trips and workshops throughout the year.

Visitors are welcome at our meetings, 7 PM the first and third Monday of each month. Come join us at the Redlands United Church of Christ located at 168 Bellevue Avenue in Redlands, California, North of W. Olive Avenue

PROGRAMS

February 6th
Improving Images Through Digital Editing

We have received a last minute call from our speaker for tonight, Larry Becker. He has experienced an airline connection problem and will not be able to make it to our club meeting tonight.

Our bailout-in-chief and favorite professional photographer, Frank Peele will be presenting a program entitled:

Improving Images Through Digital Editing

This should be a great program and well timed for our upcoming March competition. Look forward to seeing all of you this evening.

Miles of Wonder: David McChesney

In addition to being a noted wildlife photographer, David McChesney is an advanced photography instructor at the Desert Institute in Joshua Tree. He is an accomplished musician who goes by “Hurricane Dave”. His love of nature must be in his genes since his roots go back to naturalist, John Muir.

David’s website is aptly named “www.outmywindows.com” since it is through the windows of his home in Joshua Tree that David has taken some of the images you will see in his presentation, “Mojave Desert: Mile of Wonder. But his photographs are definitely not limited to his backyard! His book “Miles of Wonder” includes over 500 photographs of Joshua Tree, Death Valley, the Mojave Preserve and beyond.

David will share some of the photo’s from his book with us.
